GROUP STRUCTURE
Modernity Financial Holdings, Ltd.

Established in 2013, the Company initially focused on bringing blockchain and crypto mainstream, which led to the launch of MaiCoin Digital Asset Trading Platform the following year, a crypto brokerage based in Taiwan. It offers services including buying and selling digital assets, blockchain solutions, and NFT marketplaces.

Modernity Financial Technologies Co., Ltd.

Established in 2014, the company runs two platforms—MaiCoin and MAX Exchange—offering fiat-to-crypto transactions to both retail and institutional traders, with user funds secured in custody accounts. It complied with the Financial Supervisory Commission's Money Laundering Control Act in 2021. In 2025, it further obtained company-wide ISO 27001 certification and completed the FSC’s AML registration.

AMIS Technologies Co., Ltd.

Founded in 2016, the Company focuses on building a secure and compliant environment for digital assets. AMIS has patented multiple technologies in blockchain, custodial wallets, and other applications, along with launching Qubic, an NFT-aaS platform. AMIS Custody has passed SOC 2 Type I and Type II security audits, as well as obtained ISO 27001 certification.

MaiCoin Technologies Limited

Founded in 2017, the company primarily provides digital asset matching services for professional clients. In 2018, it established the MaiCoin | MAX digital asset exchange in Taiwan. The platform is currently operated by Modernity Financial Technologies, Ltd. under the commission of MaiCoin Technologies Limited, Taiwan Branch.

  • Qubic Wallet launched, a decentralized personal wallet service.

  • MAX Exchange was launched, becoming the world's first virtual asset exchange to feature a fiat custody trust mechanism.

‍Alex Liu is the Chief Executive Officer and Director of MaiCoin Group. Before founding the company, Alex held leadership roles in business development and marketing at Qualcomm, Samsung, and Atheros, initiating partnerships and leading product lines. Through working experiences across major cities in East Asia, Alex saw the potential of bringing decentralization and blockchain solutions to the expanding economies.

‍Yu-Te Lin
‍Prior to joining MaiCoin Group in 2014, Yu-Te gained extensive experience at HTC, Oracle, and Dell, designing mobile applications ranging from healthcare to personal cloud and remote desktop services. Yu-Te founded Everyday.me and TunesAccess. Currently, Yu-Te is Vice President of Engineering at MaiCoin Group.

Ming-Hui Chen
‍Before joining MaiCoin Group in 2018, Ming worked at Fubon Financial, managing and strategizing blockchain projects under the Innovation and Technology Division. Ming has been certified as an AML specialist and ISO 27001 auditor. Currently, Ming holds the position of General Manager at MaiCoin Group.
